If you’re like us, you chose to live in River Oaks because of its quiet and secluded almost vacation home like residential lifestyle. You made a substantial investment in your property, one that depends on keeping River Oaks an exceptional community.
We’re the River Oaks Homeowners Association, a volunteer group made up entirely of single-family residential property owners like you. Since 1981, we’ve been fighting to protect our community from excessive growth, inappropriate development, and environmental threats.
You and River Oaks Homeowners Association can do what an individual homeowner can’t always do. When you come to us for help, we can put the strength of the River Oaks Homeowners Association to work for you. Together, we provide a unified and respected front to the Village of Pleasant Prairie and elsewhere. We know which meetings to attend, when to write letters (and more importantly, where to send them), and what to say to whom. We’re far stronger than any homeowner acting individually. We help improve your neighborhood and your quality of life by:
- Improving the LAKE and PARK facilities
- Reducing CRIMINAL ACTIVITY
- Combating inappropriate DEVELOPMENT
- Stopping ENVIRONMENTAL THREATS
